Representative Madison Cawthorn (NC-11) joined Senator Ted Cruz and the House Freedom Fund in endorsing Christian Collins in his race for Texas’ eighth congressional district.
“Christian Collins is an American patriot who won’t back down to the RINOs and sellout in Congress,” said Representative Cawthorn. “He is the true America First candidate running in Texas’ 8th district. I’m proud to join my great friends Representative Gooden and Senator Cruz in endorsing him.”
Christian Collins is a sixth-generation Texan, the son of missionaries, and the founder of the Texas Youth Summit. Early last year, incumbent Kevin Brady (TX-08) announced his retirement from Congress, setting off a scramble amongst Republicans in the eighth congressional district. Collins remains a front runner in the crowded field and may become the Republican nominee for the seat. Since launching his campaign last fall, Collins has raised over $1.5M and has gained the endorsements of Senator Ted Cruz, Representative Lance Gooden, Texas Right to Life, the Republican Voters of Texas PAC, Constable Gable, Constable Deforest, and many others.
“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of Congressman Cawthorn, a young America First, Freedom Caucus fighter.” says Collins. “Madison and I are young conservatives who are unafraid of being canceled by the radical left and their cronies in Washington DC. Together, we will secure our elections and southern border, stop critical race theory and pass America first policies. I look forward to joining him in Congress to continue this fight.”
Early voting in the Texas Republican primary will begin on February 14th, with the election taking place on March 1st. To learn more about Christian Collins, visit https://www.christiancollins.org/
